MVME Wellness has the honor of partnering with Cal Poly’s Registered Dietitian Program.  Through this program, we are able to provide expert coaching and onsite presentations to our clients as well as build the skill sets of future RD’s.  For this week’s spotlight, we are proud to introduce Anna Eide – our nutritionist, and RD intern!

A little bit about Anna Eide…

I grew up on a small farm on an island in the Puget Sound of Washington State so I never found it extraordinary that my family had a garden, orchard, beef cattle, chickens, and ducks.  It was only after going away to college I realized what a special relationship I had with food. I switched majors and transferred to Central Washington University, where I pursued my passion for nutrition and earned a bachelor’s degree in food science and nutrition, specializing in dietetics. After graduation, I was fortunate enough to be placed in San Luis Obispo for a dietetic internship where I could gain experience working in a variety of settings. Following the internship, I plan to take the dietetic registration exam and work as a registered dietitian in the community or acute care setting.

Other fun facts about me: I play the harp, can speak some Norwegian and have a very large, sweet 100lb golden retriever.
